AN UNSATISFIED FATHER

Once upon a time, there was a father who always used to scold his son on small matters. If even his son has done something praiseworthy,he never gives him compliment. He always says to him,"Do something much better than it,you could have done but you have not given your hundred percent effort.Try hard further."Every time his father told these sentences, each time he get more frustrated and tried his level best for the next time. His ears were eager to hear a single praise by his father but he never got success to make his father happy.
One day,as usual, again his father discouraged him through his statements and this time, the son became so furious that he made up his mind to kill his unsatisfied father. That day,he was waiting eagerly for the night to come. When it was 12 o'clock in the midnight,he left his bed and rushed to the kitchen silently. He took the sharp knife which her mother used to cut vegetables. Then he moved towards his father's room. His hands were shivering but he was all about sure to assault his father.Suddenly he noticed two voices whispering in the darkness-

first voice-  "Why are you always been so rude to him,it would let his moral down. You don't love him.Plz don't do that. After all,he is our only son."
second voice-  "No dear, you are wrong.I love my son more than my life. But if i will begin to praise on his success, ego could dominate his mind and he can be deviated from his path.I know,he is very talented and i m proud to have a son like him."

These were the voices of his father and mother. After hearing this,he pulled his footsteps back to his room and kept weeping the whole night.

  1. I have heard this from Vidura Neethi morals, so take it as hearsay.
    1. If your Guru or Acharya visits you, always praise him publicly.
    2. Praise your friends/relatives only after they have taken leave of you; never in front of them.
    3. Praise your subordinate or your worker only after the job is complete. Never before or in between the work.
    4. Never praise your son or daughter publicly.

This matches with your short essay above.

    Cheers!
